Printmaking Classes

The Linocut Printmaking class meets at 3 Fish Studios on Saturdays at 10:30 am, and goes to about 5 pm.

Students of all experience levels are invited to bring a favorite image that they want to make a linoleum print out of. The simpler, the better, especially for beginners.

Eric will work with you to focus on how to transfer image to the linoleum, how to carve it out, and of course how to print an edition.

Bring a sack lunch, or feel free to order in from some of our local spots here in Potrero Hill.

The $70.00 registration fee covers inks, linoleum, and enough Rives BFK paper for an edition of 10. Carving tools, watercolors for hand-coloring, and various papers for chine-collé are provided for you to use, too.

Class size is limited to 6, to ensure everyone gets ample time at the press, and to experiment with different printing techniques.

Complimentary cold beverages provided around 3:00pm.
