Eric's mom Marilyn was an artist, too, and encouraged Eric to indulge his creative pursuits from an early age.  Like her son, she was particularly drawn to capture scenes of the beautiful world around her. In her 60s, she moved to Hawaii, and the grandeur of that landscape inspired her to capture these two images during her time there.

Marilyn passed away in 2021, and her legacy is reminding us that nature can be a place for reflection, healing, and comfort.
