We're way ready for November in the Outer Sunset, with new artwork, new classes, new shows, and a hint of holiday goodness to come.

Earlier this year, Annie painted 49 (!) of her 49 Mile Scenic Drive prints inspired by Rex May's iconic road sign for a special show at Zinc Details. Now, we’ve offering a massive44" by 55" print featuring the entire flock of seagulls. It’s a spectacular sight when they’re all grouped together: The biggest, boldest, brightest tribute to San Francisco. Buy yours here.

We had a blast celebrating our tenth annual ArtSpan Open Studios last month with friends, neighbors, and creative pals both old and new. In honor of the special occasion, Eric teamed up with Paul Madonna on a brand new print, featuring a linocut robot making its way through the hand-drawn Haight. Check out the latest Anatomy of a Print to see how this one-of-a-kind collaboration came together, and nab one for yourself here.

"I Love You Ireland" Print

Last month, Annie had the great honor of presenting her artwork to Michael Higgins, the President of Ireland. She painted her bear hugging her home country; Mr. Higgins and his wife were delighted. Now you too can own this very special print--brand new in the shop!

Printmaking is a blast; we love doing it, and think you would too. Our classes are perfect for total newbies and folks with carving experience. You'll learn how to select an image, transfer it onto a linoleum plate, then turn it into your very own work of art with a unique edition of prints (which, BTW, make super [presents]. Everyone loves a pressie with a personal touch...). We've got a pair of sessions available this month:Tuesday(s) November 10th and 17th

Small Business Saturday

We’ll be closed on Thanksgiving and the following Friday (November 26th and 27th), but will be ready to shake off our post-turkey gravy haze on November 28th—aka Small Business Saturday! Our doors will be open all weekend with 3 Fish prints, as well as goods and goodies from some of our favorite SF artists and makers; the perfect time and place to get a jump on your holiday shopping, add to your own wish list, and support your local creative folk.

We Will All Live Under the Sea local-artist-original-affordable-art-made-in-san-francisco

The late, great Jacques-Yves Cousteau is going to get some serious love at We Will All Live Under the Sea, a group exhibition honoring the sea explorer at The Great Highway Gallery. Over twenty Bay Area artists will be showing their work: painting, sculpture, photography, and hey! A brand new relief print custom-carved by Eric for the show. The opening reception will be held on November 6th from 6pm to 9pm, or check it out through December 19th.

Art for AIDS local-artist-made-in-san-francisco-original-art-affordable-art

On Friday, October 9th, a high-stakes bidding war broke out at the annual Art for AIDS benefit. Eric's custom red Godzilla print, pulled with executive director D.K. Haas, inspired a nail-biter of an auction, and eventually sold for a whopping $7,000. Learn more about the cause here.
