#365AnnieDoodles Week 4: Star Stuff, Boxing Gloves, and Wrestling Meemaws

Posted by Jordan Kushins on

January is nearly dunzo, folks, which means our gal Galvin has finished her first month of #365AnnieDoodles. Don't forget, you can follow along on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest, and stay tuned for weekly updates here on the blog!

Let's check in and see how she's doing, shall we?

Annie! One month in! How goes??

Let's see... This week I started several of my doodles not knowing where they were going to go. For #27, I drew the ship and couldn’t figure out what else to put in there. When I decided on a shark-type-monster-thing coming up to eat it, that made me laugh. People seemed to really respond to it!

I also really like the variety I’m getting. This week I used watercolor and ink, acrylic, collage with vintage magazines--even glitter in #26.

And your personal fave from the last seven days?

I’m going to say #24--the grandma. I loved giving a mask and some gloves to an elegant lady showing off her knitwear in a 1960s magazine. She had no idea...

And now: On to the art!

Doodle 22. Here's a secret, anytime I do a girl with boxing gloves, it means I've messed up the hands. #365anniedoodles
