Obsession is such a strong word, so I will just say this: The 3 Fish Studios gang is very deeply appreciative of the sweet deliciousness of Cadbury Mini Eggs, which are finally in season. We are going through a lot of these teensy treats. Like: A lot. Like: It's probable Annie has a few in her pocket right this moment.
Chocolates in her pocket, paintbrush in her hand, she's still killing it with her daily doodle series. Check out our latest weekly update; follow along on Instagram and Pinterest; and find your faves for purchase in limited edition prints.
Now let's check in with the crew and see what they're into this week!
What I love this week is the rain. It is making everything green. And reflective. Our California table in the back yard looks especially lovely.
It’s supposed to pour this weekend, but if you’re like me, there’s only so much time you can spend curled up inside before you get antsy-pantsy. If you’re looking to take a break, head over to the outer sunset to grab some warm beverages or a delicious scone or corn muffin at Andytown and swing by Irving Street Projects (an awesome outer sunset gallery). Their newest resident artist Gabrielle Teschner has some incredible painted geometric textile pieces that are worth checking out!
We are having some El Niño rain in San Francisco and I love it! Thirsty plants and earth are so happy to be getting a good drink. As Eric says, there's no bad weather, just bad gear--so I plan on getting my umbrella, my raincoat, and some waterproof boots and taking a walk in our lovely, dripping, sparkling city.
I *love* that everyone else is into the wet weather, because rain is my favorite and if I could live my entire life in a continued state of cozy, I would. Since it's the perfect time to cuddle up on the couch with a movie, I'm gonna go ahead and suggest the best film of all time: Singin' in the Rain!! It's genuinely one of the most joyous, delightful, wonderful cinematic achievements in the history of the medium. Also: Gene. Freaking. Kelly. I LOVE GENE KELLY. When I a ten-year-old tap dancer, I sent him a fan letter and not long after I received what is still one of my most prized possessions in the mail: A personalized, autographed photo from the man himself. What a guy. Do something nice for yourself and watch this Hollywood classic this weekend.
