With The City measuring in at 7 miles by 7 miles, our map celebrates what lies inside its borders, including the iconic 49 Mile Scenic Drive. From the bison of Golden Gate Park to the garlic fry loving seagulls at Oracle Park, from the Wave Organ in the Marina to Fort Funston on the Pacific, our map is filled with attractions and destinations known to locals and tourists alike.

To create the images and lettering, Annie drew over 160 unique illustrations on her iPad using Procreate, and then Eric used Photoshop to assemble the whole piece and put each individual graphic in its correct place. The map is printed with archival inks on cold press archival paper, creating a keepsake which can be enjoyed for many years.

This new print is exclusively available through us and at Rare Device in San Francisco, whose team inspired the idea and contributed to the content.

SF native, transplanted elsewhere 😅

I have filled my home with 3 fish studios art before I even knew about the artists as an SF native who grew up in the outer sunset. Long story long, when I loved to DE—I needed all the touch stones and visuals of home. This piece was lovingly added to the mix and I love it so much! From the little symbols to the lettering to the feeling of home—love love love it. Thank you. I appreciate your art!

The City

49 Miles of San Francisco is a charming depiction of the City geography and communities. It would be interesting to have a narrative to go with it. It might also make a great greeting card with narrative on back.
The City also has a darker side that might be interesting to explore and chart.

Of course, I love the latest addition to the 3 Fish Studios San Francisco collection and purchased one print directly from you and two from Rare Devices for presents. Just one comment - it looks as if Daly City is being considered part of San Francisco. Maybe a slightly different font and/or coloration on the next round?
