Cypress

This iconic cypress tree sits at the entrance to Hellman's Hollow in Golden Gate Park. 

The image was carved into a block of wood by Eric Rewitzer, then printed on a 28"x34" sheet of Rives BFK paper.  

Each print is made by individually inking the plate, and running it through our 48" monotype press.  Once the ink is dry, Rewitzer hand paints each tree with watercolor.  Print is embossed and signed by the artist.

The artwork will be carefully rolled and placed in a sturdy tube for shipment.
