A giant, beetle-like kaiju with powerful drill-shaped arms and a distinctive horn, Megalon first appeared in the 1973 film Godzilla vs. Megalon. Worshipped as a god by the underwater civilization of Seatopia, Megalon is known for his ability to burrow underground, fly, and unleash explosive attacks. In this original woodcut, the colossal creature emerges from the desert landscape of California’s Joshua Tree National Park, towering above the park’s iconic trees and rugged rock formations.
