Our daughter and fiancee recently moved from the East Bay area to Portland, OR. Daughter's fiancee is a native San Franciscan and previously had lived in the area his entire life. I purchased this and the same sized print of the Sunset District (where he grew up and his parents live) to give to him at the holidays as a reminder of his roots. I hope he will enjoy the prints.
A Lyft driver once told me, “We’re Unicorns. “ This was after we discovered that we were both native San Franciscans. I thought that was an excellent way of putting it. As a native, this piece of art is everything to me. My only regret-my neighborhood, the Ingleside, is not represented. Otherwise, it is perfect.
I originally bought this for a friend that is no longer in SF, but had to buy one for myself as well. Each neighborhood sign is unique, colorful, and amazing. It's even better in person!
